My passion for working with animals started when I was a child. Growing up, there was never a time when I wasn’t surrounded by dogs, cats and other animals. My very first job was working for a dog rescue, where I spent eight years working primarily as a rescuer and rehabilitator of former fighting dogs. In 2016, I completed the Animal Control Officer’s Academy (Massachusetts) and fulfilled my dream of becoming an ACO. Though I loved the job, I missed working with dogs all day, so I decided to leave the law enforcement side of rescue and return to my roots.
I graduated from the Animal Behavior Institute in spring of 2019, earning certifications in Advanced Canine Behavior & Training, and Animal Assisted Therapy. In May, I officially opened for business 'Chaos to Calm,' an in-home Dog Training and Pet Sitting service, inspired by my own rescue dog. I am Pet CPR and Pet First Aid Certified, and I have training & experience in caring for dogs with complicated medical needs. I do not breed discriminate; all dogs are welcome with me! I also care for cats, small animals, exotics, birds, farm animals, and livestock.
A little about me! I am 30 years old. Though I am originally from CT, I now live in Taunton, MA with my wife and stepdaughter. Our pack consists of Dani, a 8 year old rescue Rottweiler, Gato, an 12 year old rescue cat, and Moosimus, a 7 year old rescue leopard gecko. In my free time, you can find me taking day trips with my family, working around our new house, going to concerts, searching flea markets for Disney pins, doing something crafty with my flea market finds, and watching football on Sunday afternoon. I am a really big Disney fan.
Trivia time: what Disney movie my dog's name is from?
